Ministries Minister's Ministry Development of Church leaders; teaching and training men how to be effective Church leaders (elders, deacons and ministers) as well as how to function as men in the Lord's Church. Also, the development of young men in the Church. Additionally, various counseling and other specialized Church membership support efforts. Evangelism Ministry Taking the gospel to those not in the body of Christ (i.e. visitors to our congregation, door knocking, etc.) with the goal of winning souls through the teaching of the gospel and serving those inside the body of Christ (i.e. delinquent members) and those desiring additional spiritual edification. Examples: Bible School and congregational teaching. Social Fellowship Activities Ministry Planning, implementation and hosting of activities to increase the congregation's fellowship and unity. Examples: Fellowship meals, birthdays, anniversaries, youth activities, funerals, women's activities, outside events, etc. Administration Ministry The operation of the congregation as a business. Examples: Church finance, building maintenance, care and usage of Church assets, communications, audio/visual, staffing, etc. Benevolence Showing hospitality and doing "good works"; providing a physical service to those in the body first and outside the body secondly. Examples: Greeting visitors, sick and shut-in visitation, health services, meeting the needs of those requiring assistance, etc.
