Mission
The Deerfield Beach COC will be a loving, active and spirit filled congregation with a spiritually mature leadership. It will be very well known throughout the community in which it exits as a living example of Christianity. The congregation will be engaged in services that will uplift the quality of life in its community as well as provide the knowledge of salvation for men's souls. It will be housed in a enlarged facility that will be appropriate to serving itself and its community. The church's membership will be dedicated to Christ and committed to caring for one another.
Vision
The Deerfield Beach COC is a congregation of the body of Christ that will exemplify Christ by showing love to all. We will teach the Word of God as revealed to us by the bible and living the same. This congregation will be united with each other as brothers and sisters in Christ. We will spread the Word of God to those who do not know it and have not obeyed its commandments. The Deerfield Beach COC will teach God's plan of salvation through Christ and His church as it is written in the bible.

CHURCH HISTORY
The history of this congregation started in March 1978 at a Tent Gospel Meeting. This meeting was a Tri-County effort with the preaching of Dr. W. F. Washington. As a result of this meeting two precious souls were baptized into Christ. The Tri-County selected Bro. Henry Ward as the minister for this congregation.

The first worship service was held at Bro. McKee's house(who was one of the baptism during tent meeting). The congregation continued at Bro. McKee's house for about three months then moved to Sister Hazel Oates living room for approximately two and a half years. The congregation then moved to a warehouse for approximately six to eight years. As time passed the warehouse could not accommodate all of members.

The Deerfield Beach congregation then moved to its current location. All of the honor, glory and praise should be given to our Great God who is in control made it possible for us to celebrate our history in this community.
